Latin Acción – Amarelinha

As part of the Latin American Actions Festival, proposed by Placemaking Latin America, the Latin Acción had the goal to promote the appropriation and activation of the public spaces and revive childhood through hopscotch: a traditional child play that is losing its space in the city.
The action consisted of drawing hopscotch on streets, squares and sidewalks and invite adults and children to play. Spaces that were usually used to leisure activities on weekends were chosen in order to achieve the highest amount of people possible.
